We're serving up fresh, local food prepared simply and deliciously. We welcome omnivores, vegetarians and vegans. All will find food they can enjoy and celebrate.

We enjoy providing that special meal - breakfast, lunch, dinner or after-dinner cocktails & dessert - for family and business functions. We happily celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, holidays and other occasions and love nothing more than an excuse to bake a beautiful and delicious cake (or two)! In addition to our food we serve beer, wine and a selected assortment of spirits.

ABOUT OUR FOOD

We are proud to serve Peace Coffee and SerendipiTea; both are Fair Trade Certified and organic. We serve a variety of beers, most of which are local Midwest beers or crafted in sustainability-minded breweries. We also serve Midwest and organic wines, and a selected assortment of top-shelf spirits.

 

We craft our own pickles, jams and preserves, many of which are now available for sale. Desserts are made with organic, Fair Trade sugar and organic, Fair Trade chocolate.

 

What we don’t make ourselves we procure from the finest organic and/or local producers, primarily in the Midwest. All eggs and  meat served come from animals which have been humanely raised on pastured, organic farms. We strongly support small local farmers who utilize sustainable farming practices.

 

In the growing season we have an open door agreement with local organic gardeners and farmers - we accept any excess produce they bring to us and either serve it fresh or preserve it for future use.
